Wow man you did a crazy good job getting that back on the road, that would have made me vomit after that wreck. You got it back really fast too was it just since April? Great work! I applaud you to bounce back like that.

Thanks! My step dad played a huge part in it, I couldn't have done it without him. It actually happened at the very end of September going into the winter. It's usually crappy weather where I live so doing something like that would have been equally crappy in the driveway and no cover, rain and cold, etc. It was the beginning of February by the time I sourced parts and mid April when I began repairs. March I took a vacation being really worn out from work then shortly after got laid off due to covid so I took advantage of that time to do repairs. It was about a month later the odds and ends were mostly buttoned up and I was driving it. I still need an alignment but there appears to be a delay getting my tie rod ends and boots however the car is driving exceptionally smooth given the late history, just has some torque steer under throttle.

Thats simple stuff man, you got your machine going again most people would have sent it to the yard or parted it out. That's some serious dedication and you said you began repairs in April wow! I got a gear head for a dad too he loves his corvettes and camaros hes the reason i got into cars, nice work brother!

I used to cringe the possibility of needing the mallet to take off rotors or stubborn ball joints. Now it's all about getting back behind the wheel no matter what. I always used to talk about how clean it was, inside and out. Still is inside, and from the right angles, outside too. ROFL Even after the repairs I'm still getting compliments, thumbs up from onlookers, and a lot of love for the platform. That alone was worth holding onto! No way was this getting junked. #savetheeclipse
