Ok i just bought the car for 500 dollars an drove it home i knew there was a tranny problem with it. But the prixe was too cheap to pass up. So heres the priblem. While in drive 2nd gear gravs hard. First gear will drive for a ling time like say 4 grand . Sometumes 2nd will engade but most tumes it just ends up findung 3. Then say ## at highwY speed if u step on it to get in to passing gear it seems like it drops more then one gear . Like the kick down isnt workin properly. If u let off the gas in first gear it will end up grabbing 2nd gear really hard. Idk were to start. I dont have any code testing capabilitys with out bringing it to a dealer. So im just loiking for ideas an cost to fix an replace stuff or how to narrow it down to a few things. There is plenty of fluid in the tranny :) . From there i dont know anything bout these trannys.

Sounds like your not getting enough pressure keep it simple and Chang your fluid and put new filter maybe you'll get lucky. If that don't work the cluch plates are crazy easy to Chang and there cheep

Thanks, i planed on doin a tranny flush, u think that could be a waste of cash should i just change the fluid instead ? . Were could i get info on the tranny clutch removal an install an were could i get the parts ?. Its amazing i googled sensors like up an doen shift sensors , the shift silonods valve bodys an i couldnt find anything about were to buy them, just people sayin they need them . U. Guys know were to buy this stuff besides the dealer an what this stuff costs. The fluid does have a smell to it thats in the tranny now but it appears to be clean.

Ok well i found a local tranny shop that will put it on a machine an run the codes since there is a check engin light on. Its 45 so thats a good deal. They told me to not do a tranny flush. So i guess thats not happening. I hope it comes back as a sensor or a silonoid.

Ok so engine code day. I went to the local parts n service store they did a free check engine diagnostic . An i pulled several codes. First code

P0170
P0136
P0135
P0141
P0125
P1750. Which was the only one they told me what it was which was the tranny code. So is this a silonid code ? Or r there other possiable culprits.

An if anyone can help me with what the other codes are an were i can find the sensors to buy. Also how much would it cost to change the silonods in the valve body if i bring it to a shop ?
