Can i swap a 97-99 or a 1st gen cas onto my 2ga head? I did a search, but all i could find was concerning 6bolt swaps. Is this possible, would i have to swap around the ignition wires because it is inverted?

Thanks

Ok let me clear this up. What i want to do is run a 1st gen or 97-99 cas on my 95-96 7bolt 2g. Is this possible, what would i need to do, what is all needed, which would be a better choice 97-99cas or a 1st gen cas?

Thanks

Well from what I know the 2g has two seperate sensors. One at the crank and one at the head. Whereas the 1g has 1 sensor that acts as both a crank and a cam sensor located at the head. So I dont know that it can be done.

Ok i want to swap the 2gb cam angle sensor with my 2ga cam angle sensor. On the 2ga it is behind the cam gear, on the 2gb it is where the 1g cas is located.

I'd go for the 1g cas and wire it like you're doing a 6 bolt swap, and just get rid of the 2g cas and crank sensor altogether. I'm curious as to why you're doing this. Knowing may help us help you out.
