96 with 97+ fog lights problem

Hey everybody, I have a 96 GST with a 97+ conversion and need help with the fog lights. When I bought the car the conversion was already done. My old fog lights lenses were broken so I bought some other ones. My problem comes in when I tried to install them the plugs were different??? Since the car is a 96 can I just replace the bottom piece from a 96 that holds the wires and plug onto the 97 fog lights? Or are they different?

Just wires. You can either track down the matching sockets and plugs, or make your own. Or, buy a pack of Posi-Locks.
