96 GST won't boost over 14psi w/ boost controller

I have a 96 GST all stock. Car was boosting 12psi before I put on the mbc, and 14psi with. What could it be?

Turn knob for more boost, drive and turn some more till you reach your desire psi.

You're stock, your blow off valve is likely leaking. It could also be anything already posted, or it could be your car telling you to stop messing with airflow until you've got fuel and tuning.

Turn one way til you cant no more than the other way.

At one end point the car will explode than you know you've gone too far!

BCS may still be in there, BLT is also a good idear!

If your car still has the stock BOV, it cannot boost past 14 pounds. You need to upgrade BOV.
