Well I figured to update the thread ROFL

11/1/08 I Finally got the engine in. I did my clutch, installed my fidanza flywheel, put on my oil pan, valve cover... I bolted up the tranny to the block and put them both in as 1 piece. I could of had it done but it was gettin dark and the car was outside.

11/2/08 I got everything ready for that start up, it was gettin a little late and dark since I started working on it at 4:00PM but my goal was to start it up. Well I turned the key and the 4G63 fired up, it made me feel good inside. Then I took it for a quick ride up and down the road with no hood and bumper, and I could tell it ran a lot better than before.

11/3/08 I started driving it. I couldnt help it I just wanted to drive it since I missed it so much :D.. All I gotta I say is that Im very pleased with this build up, Im still breaking it in so for now im taking it easy. :thumb:

if you had your motor built by SBR they tell you not to baby your motor even during breakin. it will cause the motor to want to be babied all the time and when you do decide to tear into it then it will wanna break. that is what they told me when i ordered my motor. just to manhandle it. :beatentodeath:
