okay first thin first, idle hunting high idle, coolant lines on turbo not connected and same on intake manifold

The coolant lines from the turbo may have been disconnected because the turbo was burning coolant, with the broken turbo bolt it seems that someone tried to pull it off. ]

High haunting idle could be from a vacuum line disconnected/ leaking, boost leak, bad IAC, or FIAV
 
It looks to me that this guy swapped everything to stock to sell it. Look near the edge of the radiator support for any cuts in it. That means he had a front mount on it.
 
the car holded boost good, my uncle says the same, that the coolant lines were disconnected prob cause white smoke was blowing, we only drove it once before we bought it, and when he drove it, it went smooth other then the idle going nuts, i did pick up an idle air valve that i havent installed
