2G 95 gst won't start

Okay recently bought a 95 eclipse gst. I believe everything is stock besides a huge aftermarket intercooler. Ran the car for Prolly a total of 20 mins off an on attempting to load onto a trailer and what not. Hard to start and ran very rough. Got it home and the timing belt fell off trying to start it. So I replace the timing belt and found out the previous owner lost the bolt for the tensioner which made sense why the belt fell off. Replaced both belts, put a new bolt in. All the tensioners and pulleys were new so I left them be. Couldn't get the timing right but after three times of tearing it apart I finally got it right and everything back together. Now it tries to start, but won't stay running. I have fuel and spark. I'm thinking the fuel/air ratio is off due to fact of the aftermarket intercooler pushing more air and not supplying enough fuel. But before I get into that could it be something simpler? Any suggestions?

It isn't the intercooler. Is your maf plugged in by your air filter?

Fell off trying to start it......that should tell you everything. It's an interference motor. You can't just put another belt on it. You probably bent valves.

Do a compression test to see if you bent your valves. If the belt fell off when it was running, it's a good chance you bent a few.

Okay I was posting this as I as on my way to go buy a compression tester. In cylinder 2 and 4 I have 150 psi. Can't get any reading at all on 1 and 3

Pretty good sign of bent valves. Time to rebuild the head.

So send the head to a shop to get it resurfaced, buy a valve kit. Any thing else? Honestly it's just a flip vehicle so I don't plan on keeping it. So cost effective is key. Cheaper to replace the motor or rebuild the head?
