95 front bumper question

All right i was in the process of removing my front bumper on my 95 eclipse and i ran into a problem. There are four white plastic screws inbetween the fog lights that i can't get out. Can anybody help. I have prefored a couple of searchs but nobody specifies on these four plastic screws. Please help. Thanks

here is the picture of the four screws(you can only see two) they taken a phillups screw dirver but i can turn and turn but no luck.

if they are plastic just pry em out

yeah, they get stripped easy, I had to pry mine out. And for my new bumper, I didnt use anything there, and it holds fine. Ill eventually find something to replace them with some day...

anybody got a way to get them out with out breaking them or stirpping them?

they are plastic screws. If you cant turn them with a screwdriver, and they get stripped... what are you goig to do? just rip them out of there.

Just pry those screws out w/ a flathead. They will probably shatter, but don't worry about it. They are not really necessary to hold the bumper on, and if you really want to, use 3M mounting tape in their place. That stuff will hold anything.

They're production-line crap. They're made to press in nice and fast so the UAW Member can think he's building a car for his $38 an hour occupation, then the shank is threaded so the grease monkey can get it back apart. They're good for about two years in Earth's atmosphere, at which point, being recyclable and all, they start to rot. If you can, reach up behind it and squeeze the body together so the threads can get a grip, while you unscrew it. They're kind of like a drywall Molly bolt. To reassemble, contact a Union member, or just push them in. The last guy probably tried to screw them, and it did.
