I have had an issue with my car running lean. I just found out it has a 95 ecu. I realized because the firing order is swapped. I read that swapping the wires will make it run because of the cas but the injector pulse will be off. They said you will get slight missfires at idle and under mild acceleration. I'm experiencing those symptoms would this cause me to run lean. The car is all stock I just replaced the fuel filter and no luck. The plugs are gray to white color. I thought dsms run rich from the factory so they should be more copper color. Thanks for your help.

What is going on that makes you think you are running lean? Do you have a wideband? The ecm won't make you run lean. My first guess would be an o2 sensor, but we need more info to know what is going on and what is the car doing to make you think its lean. The plugs should be a grey/white color if running properly. If you are lean, they would have white speckles all over them. If you are rich, they would be covered in black soot
