Hello everyone! Been ages since I posted anything so I decided to do some sort of update. Car was indeed panted last year with less than satisfying results I must say. It was in his possession for several months, I missed driving my own car to the summer Import Alliance meet, and when I got it back I was not happy. Paint was dry and uneven in spots, clear coat literally peeled right off the car, overspray everywhere... just ugh. Made me pretty disheartened. Not to mention it broke down on the 5 min drive home, blew out my HID ballasts, dead alternator, bad battery, ran like garbage. The car was running for awhile but these days it does more sitting than anything. I have yet to install any of the parts I bought over a year ago. And the car sits without an alternator because the one that I did replace the dead one with I had to use on my daily tsi I picked up last August. GS-Talon has sat with hardly any interior for quite awhile either. I feel as if I've almost lost interest in the car. But who knows we'll see what is in store for it. Now some pictures.

Here she is when I met up with the guy who bought my old GS-T I sold to help fund this car and actually got it running! This was several months ago now

Note that the strake is not on the car. During the time it was in the guy's possession he managed to break one of them because something fell on it. Now This pissed me off because of how rare they are. But A few weeks ago I got a set of new ones at a junkyard, the car I pulled them from also had the rare quarter windows, I may go back for them soon. This week I start a much better paying job and I'm going to focus my finances on getting an evo. I will put a new alternator on this car and get it repainted eventually. But I will have it running again soon. I will be selling the red Tsi I picked up as a daily as I ran it off the road last month in a snow storm and lost interest in it as well (this shit sucks). But I'm at least going to fix what I messed up on the car. If all goes well I'll have an evo and gstalon where I envisioned it within a year. We shall see....
