95 Eclipse Cam Sensor replaced not starting

OK so last night i replaced my Cam Sensor that i got from Autozone. I lined up all of the timing marks perfectly. Put everything back together and now it wont start. I dont know what to do... I need my car for school and work.. please help .. Thanks , Sean

There's 3 things that need for a engine to fire. Compression, spark, and fuel. If your CAS is working properly, you will get spark. Get a spark tester (or just pull individual spark plugs out and crank the motor a couple of times and put it against the valve cover to see spark). If you get spark, then you have other things to look at. If you do not get spark, there are several components of the ignition system.

cam angle sensor
crank angle sensor
resistor
ignition coil pack
spark plugs
spark plug wires

This sound stupid, but more often than not, people simply just don't plug everything in. Go slowly over the exact procedure of what you did, and more, and take a look at some plugs to see if they're all secured.

Hey, Thanks.. my step-dad and i figured it out last night after i read forums from everywhere. the forums on this site were actually the most helpful. the problem ended up being my Exhaust cam was off 180 degrees. thank you for your response.

by the way.. yes many people do forget to attach a wire or something small and stupid and end up spending countless hours trying to figurte out whats wrong.. haha

You might have bent valves in that case!
