95 A/C Repair

I have a 95 tsi but the A/C is not working. I refiller the freon to 44psi with not change in temperature. i thinking its the compressor but dont know for sure. Any thoughts?

Well, it's not Freon, but I'll hope you meant 134a.

The AC has its own computer on the evaporator in the cabin, and a temp/pressure sensor on the receiver/dryer and on the compressor itself. Also, make sure your compressor clutch is working.
