Hi guys,
I recently broke my right rear parking brake cable. Most auto parts places around here want 40 bucks for one plus shipping. I found this repair kit at napa online

Do you guys think it would possible to pull the old brake cable from the housing and just thread this new one in? The guy from autozone told me I couldn't pull the old one out successfully but he doesn't know specifics about these cars. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on this because I still have to figure out if my cv axles or center diff need replacing. Thanks
