2G Replacement parking brake cable ?

Hey guys, so I figured out why my parking brake didn't catch; since the one side is busted, the lever only pulls the left side awkwardly and doesn't hold my car.
The replacement Part number is : MB895858
(1998 gsx passenger rear parking brake cable)

My question is:
A. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the whole cable? (I am assuming not, as it needs to be as strong as an original cable)

B. Should I replace both sides? I'm not overly balling right now, but it seems like something you would switch both sides at once.

C. Are there any recommendations on where to purchase one in Canada, or in the states with cheap shipping to Canada / or if anyone has one they are willing to ship me,
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is where they would be shipped. The best price I can find online is about $50 give or take for the one cable.

Rock Auto might ship to Canada. RTM Racing is Canada based I believe. I'd recommend doing both sides at the same time.

ahh both places end up a bit over 50. i guess thats the price she goes

The local parts store had a new one for my 1g, make sure to check those first!
