HI, i reciently installed a new head in my talon, new timing(the full works, bearings, tensioner, TBelt, BSbelt). Anyway so i start the talon up and i am now getting idle surge, saw minor sighns before the new install. LIke i push in the clutch and a saw a little bounce, that was it.

Car starts up fine, with no surge, but as soon as the car heats up its eratic. push in the clutch, stop lights, stop sighns, its surgers over and over, sometimes it stops other times it continues. Now it doesnt serge between shifts only when the clutch and full compressed and the car is at idle.

Besides the Idle surge, i get a spitt and sputter when i am in low ger at rpms through 750 to 1700 then it runs fine, full rpm rang is great. Any idea's the Mechanical timing is like perfict so... any ideas on the two problems.

Sorry for the long thread questions but i really need help, i read the other threads simular symptoms but not all the same

Can the ISC be the problem of this?

Have an automatic it started idle surge last week good luck. Lots of info from searches.ISC can be bad do ohms check somewhere like 27 to 33 also could be vodoo curse.Check vacuum lines for leaks, egr, biss, engine coolant sensor, dirty throttle body, etc. Good luck still working in mine

Well went out bought a new isc, idle is perfect now so that was a problem, after installing though i had to adjust the bliss screw. but all in all worth the 170 i sent.
