I have a pretty decent oil leak coming from my oil cooler, It is the orange o-ring,
Tonight I removed the cooler and flipped the o-ring over and it stopped for a while. I got home a little while ago and it is dripping again, And of coarse it is friday night, So I wont be able to get a new one for at least 4 days.

My question is this, Has anyone found an oil filter that has the same size o-ring that will work for a few days until I can get a new one (MD620908)???
I work in a shop and we have a huge assortment of oil filters there, I should have just tried to match it up while I had it off. What a pain in the ass.

I know it is not the right way to do it, And that is not what I am asking, I am also aware they are cheap, And that is not the issue. I need to drive my car or else I would park it until the new one arrives. I appreciate any helpful information on this, Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Brian, I was able to find an oil filter O-ring that worked perfectly.

It is a carquest filter # 85365. I am pretty sure it is a subaru wrx sti filter, As well as an rx-8 filter.
Either way, Hopefully this will help someone in a pinch someday. Just cross the number and you are all set.

I just did the same fix to my car for a easier filter go to your dodge dealer and pick up a 0fe00370 oil filter. It's the perfect o ring size.
