93 Auto questions (electrical)

Not very familiar with this car and I have a few questions.

is the transmission capable of shifting manually (without any electronics)

also what is the factory stall speed on the converter

and is the ECU different from the 5 speed ecu

you mean shifting from L-2-D??? if so, yes it gives a pretty close shift

yes, it does use a different Ecu settings, it actual is set to 390cc injectors. Manual ecu is used for their stock 450cc's(this refers to 1ga and 1gb turbo models only)

I have been reading about your toggle switch setup on a couple of different threads and was just curious on how you made it.


On a side not, how come it seems like 93 autos have the biggest problems with the electronics?

the solenoid harness unplugs near the dipstick, you just put plug ends on the wire and hook 2 up there, then run them to the toggle switches and run power to the switches.
it's easy to show, hard to explain with words
