after a builtd of a 6 bolt build the only good head we have is a late 92 seven bolt.the six bolt has arp studs that will not allow the later 92 7 bolt haed to go on,my question is can i drill on a drill press the head stud holes to the larger 6 bolt size so this head will go on?from looking at the hole size difference you should not have to drill or enlarge all of them.

The 1g 7 bolt heads I have seen dont need to be drilled. My 93 head was identical to my 91 head, bolt holes and all. I dont think they changed the bolt hole size in the head untill 95 on the 2g.

91 block, 93 head. Head got jammed on studs. They will fit with stock headbolts I think but I know from experince it wont fit with ARPs

I actually experienced the same thing. Take a round file and make them a little larger, just a little though.
