92 transmission

[90 Talon AWD]

Hey i just bought a used shep transmission the guy said it came out of a 92 but he said the transfer output was a 22 i thought the 91 and up had the 23. So will my 22 spline transfer case bolt on to it. Also, i am putting it in my 90, but i have the cables, shifter, and shifter base to do the swap. Thanks

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you have to match the splines up.
