92, 1st gen, will not start. the timing belt was just replaced, and everything lined up correctly, however it just turns over and does not start, it has spark... i'm lost?

its got spark all the indicators meet the "ticks" for the timing belt, the guy that owns the car said he was driving about 5 miles per hour. then it cut off. fuel is there... i'm gonna check the plugs.

yea just check the plugs, wires, coil, makes sure you have a good fuel filter, check injectors also, best plug to run in our cars is the ngk, for the non turbo gap them from .039-.043, if turbo its about .028.

i checked the plugs for fuel soak, none.

i checked for fuel and its getting fuel.

i checked the oil, put new plugs and plug wires in (correct order also, double checked)

i checked all the fuses in the engine bay...all look to be in working order. its a N/A SOHC 1.8 L engine, its a friend of mine, the only reason i'm helping him is because i'm somewhat familiar with mitsu engines.

pull your mpi fuse and empty the gas in the chamber. then, try to start it again, maybe you're flooding.
