I'm thinking about buying a 91 talon that's in good shape for 350 but owner says that
It runs rough then dies any idea what it could be? I was thinking it could be the mass airflow sensor any help would be great

Could be ECU where it has probs with idling... But, could be lucky: a simple tuneup would work wonders.

If you do tag it for 350, belt job, first thing - both timing and balance belts. Then plugs (NGK BPR6ES-11, gapped at .044). This should get you by.

well it has sat for a year but has a lower mileage motor and tranny it has had the clutch replaced , 02 sensor , ecu , fuel pump relay , i was told that it ran good then clutch went they got the new clutch in and it would "start for a second but it wouldnt really idle it would just cut-out and die" i dunno if this helps but thats what ive gatherd so far

Smartest thing you could do is go buy a Hayes service manual. (or oem). It will have instructions on how to pull the codes using a voltmeter and what each of the codes mean. That should start you down the path to fixing the issue.
