91 motor in 90 body?

what all do i need to switch over to make this work? As of right now im using the 90 Coil pack & resistor, 90 CAS, and 90 ECU and the car wont start. Am i missing something?

Well I'm doing the same project... A 91AWD eclipse gsx engine to a 90FWD laser... Will it work? Have not got my engine in yet...Let me know how this thread goes..... DSM 4 life

The ecu pinouts are different from 90-91, vfaq has the info you need on the wiring. it is only 2 wires. It's easiest just to use everything from a 91-94 motor. You will need a 91+ coilpack because of the tach readouts. This is something that should really be searched. There are a ton of people who have already done this and could tell you exactly what you need.
