'91 head fit on a '93 7 bolt block?

I believe cams are next for me. I have a '91 6 bolt head. Will it bolt tomy '93 7 bolt block? I would like to get some port work done, just a clean up, and then have the cams installed and using ARP studs have the head installed on the '93 block. Thanks, mark
PS: SORRY if this is a simple ?? but I was never clear when guys did the head change if they did7bolt had to7 bolt block!

my buddie used a 2g head on a 1g. i personally dont see why it wont work. the 2g head was better ported so he used that one instead and it sealed fine.
