91 GSX turns over once then dies.

Ok guys Ive had this problem for over a month now I've searched and went thru almost every possibility and still have no idea yesterday I changed the starter and nothing. The car sounds like it wants to start at first crank and then when I turn the key I get this clicking noise but it won't turn over and then it just sounds like the battery is dying. But the battery is brand new so I have no idea. I need help badly thanks alot

Fuel, spark and compression... Have you checked all three?? Post up results so we have a better idea on whats going on..

I would say this sounds like your starter is gone. but before you do that check the battery for correct charge. does it start if you jump it? you may want to check your alternator while you are at it as well. but from the symptoms you described sounds like a starter. when they go bad or are going bad they start when they want....and when they dont you only get the click. before you rip the starter off i would check the starter connections and all connections ie battery.

The starter is brand new just changed it a couple of days ago.
