91 gsx owner needs help

hi my name is justin i have a 91 eclipse gsx and im having a sputtering problem when i get in to it full throttle or have throttle some times it sputters real bad if anyone has any answers or suggestions please let me know thanks

Check the basics. Take your spark plugs out and check that they are properly gapped. If you have a Ohm meter you can check the condition of your spark plug wires. The resistance should be 4k-8k Ohms per foot. Also try replacing your fuel filter.

Try replacing your spark plugs and wires, worked for me when I had this problem.

I agree, Check your plugs & wires! Also check for boost leaks! Sounds like you may have a boost leak? Do you have a logger? If you don't invest in one!!

thanks guys changing something as little as the plugs helped it alot and i have a data logger on the way from obdloggers.com and i know im running rich i just have to get my gauge hooked up so i can see how rich and get a afc to trim my fuel back so i can get it running top notch but thanks for the help and hopefully ill see some of you at some of the meets cause im planning on going or who knows might see you all at the track or somewhere thanks again
