91+ cas into 90 Car HARDWIRING

So i belive my cas is bad in my 1990 eagle talon
i recently put in a new motor from a 91+ and i reused the intake manifold and cas and coil pack
one day my cel was going on and off but the car was still running good so i didnt pay any attention to it but the next day my car didnt start
i have access to a 93 car and i took out part of the harness so i can get the different clip for the cas
does anyone know how to directly wire it in?
what colors go to which?

if its first gen then things will interchange,you have a different problem than the cas harness.

so i wired in the 91+ cas and i got fuel to squirt out of the injectors by spinning the thing on the end
i put it on my head and tried to start the car and it wants to start but it doesnt
is my timing off causing my car not to start or would it atleast start up but not run really good ?

I did this a while back with my beater car over the summer...I used the 91+ cas and kept the 90 power transistor and coil pack. The wiring I followed came from here.

i told you that you had a different problem,guess im stupid....how is the car running?

well the cas is now squirting fuel out of the injectors
but the car is still not starting
i think the timing is off
it almost starts but doesnt

line all your timming marks up(cams and crank marks)and see where you sit.if all marks line up you should be tbc on #1 cylinder,if not you might have jumped timming.

i just went out and did that and the timing is all fine
this is sooo confusing man i dont know what the hell is wrong with it
it kinda tries to catch and start but it doesnt start
i dont know what could of happened over night that made it not start

my galant ran fine one day,next day would not start.let it sit for a day and still no start.pulled the plugs and they looked wet(flooded maybe),left the plugs out for a day to let the cylinders dry out.put new plugs in and had a friend crank the car while i moved the cam angle sensor back and forth and it started.reset the timming and havent had a problem since.my car would almost start just like yours and this was my fix,just an idea.

i have a data logger but its not working idk whats wrong with it i think im gonna buy another or something
and i tried retarding the cas it still didnt start
and the spark plugs are in the correct order

Did you do a scan to see what the code read?
