90 laser questions

I posted earlier about this laser i just bought long story short it sat for several years before i bought it. Ive change all fluids, rewired a lot of things, new battery, its just turning over wont start. What am i missing? And this other question is not a dsm question, i hope thats not breaking the rules, i have a 95 lumina. I was at Walmart waiting for my wife, with the car running, i shut it off to go inside when i came back out and started it it revs at about 3500 rpms at idle. Been doing it sence does anyone know what would cause this? Its waisting so much gas.

could be your crank angle sensor. I had this happen to me before. Make sure you are getting good spark and fuel.

Thanks everyone ill check all this thanks for the link. I also have a question about my clutch. When I push it to the floor it wont come back up. The fluid is full. Is this because its been sitting? And how do i fix it to get it to come up.I have to grab it and pull it up. Or put my foot under it to get it.

Is your boost gauge going to zero when you turn the key on. If not its a bad ECU.

Bleed the clutch. Check to make sure the slave cup isn't leaking.

I'd flush out the old clutch fluid (Power steering fluid) by opening up the slave spit valve and let the system drain completely. Fill with PS fluid and flush out the lines. Then do the fill and bleed the line.

22yr old Laser .. could be ECU have gone grumpy on you.

Make sure that you get the MD 128625 ECU, being the 1990 FWD 5 speed number.
