90 eprom ECU

I am having a HARD time finding a eprom for my 90 eclipse. Of course, I have the year thats limited to a small amount of ecu's. Of course there couldn't have been a eprom in my car to start with, and of course there is something wrong with the non eprom ECU I already own.

I refuse to spend $100 to $200 of a nonprom just to get back on the road!

Is there any way to use a 91+ eprom in a 90?

Yes, you can use the 91+ ECU in your 90. You'll have to switch a few wires around, or get some different parts, but it can be made to work. I believe their is a guide in the VFAQ or technical section.

I believe that by the time you do all the work to switch to a 91+ ECU you will spend more money than if you just bought the correct 90 ECU.

Looks like you will need different coil pack, power transistor and tach plus the 91+ ECU.

Look on tuners I see ones all the time for about 250 shipped to 300 shipped. I got mine for like $300 when I went link. Just keep your eyes open. Don' bother with the switch over so you can use a 91-94 it's not worth it.
