i got t boned in my 90 gsx and i found a 94 gsx shell missing ecu engine rear end axles transfer case drive shaft tranny will my 90 stuff bolt in and will the wireing harness's work or will i have to change wiring harness's

you should change the wire harness as many of the 90 engine sensors(cam, tps, etc) are that year only. You could splice the 94 harness but since you have it already, i would just swap it in.

you will have to modify a few wires on the harness, but everything else will work. you are kind of going backwards on this, as everything on the 94 is better, but since its missing everything it would be a good purchase assuming its in good condition and getting it for super cheap. if you have something spare to drive, you might consider parting your car out except the long block, and finding the drivetrain out of a 92+ gsx.

You can use all your stuff with only minor changes. Keep the 94 wiring harness in the car. Swap wires 6 and 14 in the large harness that goes to the ecu. Since your putting a 90 ecu in a 91+ car you don't need to add anything to the wiring harness. Now in order to do this you'll need to locate a couple things. CAS (the 90 has a pig tail, the 91+ does not) coil pack assembly and throttle body assembly (TPS, FIAV, etc) (all from a 91 - 94 turbo car). Everything else from your 90 will work. You'll need to swap out the shifter and cable assembly (you don't need to but it's recommended), the 91+ shifter stuff will give your a shorter shift, but if not adjusted properly **could** break the shift forks in the transmission. The rear, trans, t-case, drive shaft, engine, etc will all bolt into a 94 car.

OK but would the easiest way be to swapp engine harrness because iv doon that a bunch on cars not that big a deal and put the 90 shifter in it until i find a 90+ shifter cables and iv heard the tachs are different should i put my 90 gauge panel in it as well i leave in ky we dont have inspection o yea im getting the car with a good title for 300 good body needs paint and good interior and are the fwd shifter cables the same as awd

'90's use a tach noise filter while 91+ have it in the coil pack. On the '90s it's located on your intake manifold support bracket, it's just a little gold looking box, it does ground itself on the bracket.

Your making this a lot more complicated then you need to man. Your car is a 1990. The one your buying / bought is a 1994. Take the shifter base and cables out of your 90 and put them in the 94. With your trans being a 90 it will then shift correctly. Leave the 94 gauge cluster in the car. Leave the 94 engine harness in the car. All you need to do is buy a 91+ coil pack, throttle body, and ecu. Or you can swap wires 6 and 14 and use your 90 ecu. Either way your just wasting time swapping the wiring, gauge cluster, etc for no good reason. Just buy T/B and Coil pack assemblies from a 91+ car and be done with it.

Or sway the wiring harness, shifter stuff, and gauge cluster and install all your 90 stuff.

well iv got the 94 here and the dash is tore and cracked so i am going to put my dash from my 90 in it and all my wiring and ecu and shifter stuff but my final question is will the 90 ecu hook up to the 94 dash wiring and all functions like heater cd player gauge panel all gauges and diagnostic port in other words every thing on or in the car and the 94 has abs and my 90 don't iv got the money to buy a 90 or 94 eprom from keydiver stage 3 and 94 throttle body and all sensors but witch ones do i need tps crank angle sensors or cam angle sensors , map sensors , coil pack, ignition Module but if i use all my 90 stuff ill have more money for performance parts like mild cams bigger throttle body bigger injectors data logger witc way do you guys think i should go
