89 mirage hatch

I was wondering if anyone knows if a 4g63/T will be a direct drop in on a 89 mirage hatch. with out changing engine mounts or even if you could use the same trans

the motor will not just bolt up. You need motor mounts from a colt turbo and you have to customize the tranny mount but other than that and the wiring harness from an eclipse or colt turbo it is pretty much a drop in procedure

you can use the tranny from a dodge colt turbo or an eclipse but I am not 100% sure.

i used the trans from a 1g dsm. As far as wiring harness i would try to get a harness from a turbo colt that way it is just plug and play. With the eclipse harness you have to hack it up to make it work.

My friend has one done allready.

He had to modify the engine and tranny mounting system. I'll ask him today and get back to you.
He is using an eclipse tranny, and mixed match axles. Mirage axles with eclipse ends at the tranny.

I'll also get the name of a website that deals with this.
