I've been building this truck since February. Here's a quick basic rundown:

89 Dodge d50
4g63
th350 trans
Explorer 8.8 w/disk brakes
HX35 turbo/BEP bolt on housing
Hafe maifold/Tial 38mm gate
Dsmlink v3
Bosch 044 pump/Aeromotive filters/RCI cell

The truck runs, started it up last week. I do have some leaks that need to be addressed, but the trans seems to be working properly(I was worried about that particular trans being doa). Here are some pics of it when I pulled it out of the garage:

That....is just sick!!! I have an 89 S10 I was thinking about doing this too LOL. Obviously the motor looks a little built but whats your ballpark on the price tag for what you have done so far? Been seriously thinking about doing this. Might need to get some more info from ya...
 
Honestly, I haven't been keeping track of the money spent. The biggest chunk of it was spent on the fuel system and the turbo setup, but I guess that is where alot of money is spent on most builds. I would say you would spend $5k not counting purchasing the truck. Keep in mind, the 8.8 is completly stock and the trans/converter was bought used for around $325.

Hotpipe setups are proven to work, plus I have been wanting to do one for years. I will be running e85 along with w/i.
