Thanks in advance for anyone's input and help with this. I have been building my 1g for a little over 3 years. I finally got the balls to cage it and make it a race car. However one issue that I am having is deciding how to get the proper fuel system together . I currently run 2 255 pumps on a full blown hanger and know that I am close to being out of fuel supply . (On e-85) my debate here is , should I swap 255's for the 450 pumps? If so, will they fit? Or maybe running an a-1000 on a hobs switch is a better idea? Or if there is a better suggestion , please let me know.
Thanks !!!!

850's really?!? I would seriously look into some 1250's or bigger, especially running e85! Are you logging injector duty cycle in ecmlink? If your not you need to and I bet its over 85% your probably close to 100% easy! Unless your fuel pressure is super high, either way the 850's are your limiting factor and probably your tune!

I'm inclined to think that if you have a stated goal of 800whp, you should be able to figure out the fuel system.. that's pretty basic. The discussion is had here a few times a month also.

I will say fewer points for failure in a race car (any system for that matter) is crucial. You want one pump, be it electrical or mechanical. A single set of injectors, now that we have >2000cc/min units available, I love mine FWIW.

^what injectors do you run?
You going to be at the 1/2 mile events in chicago? I'm hoping to get out there for the later one in sept/oct.
