73 dollar brand new HKS ssqv? What do I need?

That is a fake hks, as everyone said it says ssqv on the inside. Why are you looking for a hks anyway??> Just for the woosh?? Thats great and all but spoken from experience the hks is a horrible bov to recirculate because it doesnt like half throttle or partial throttle. It would drive like sh1t for me when at partial throttle and let off and it would blow off and my car would act up. If I were you, or if I could do it again I'd buy a 1g bov instead. And if your going to race and run a gigamongous turbo get 2 1g bovs . I would give up my ssqv for 2 1g bovs in a heart beat. For one I hate the noise, I had to remove the fin inside because of the sneezing annoying the hell out of me. So now I just run the recirc fitting on there and it sounds more like the tial. All in all get a 1g bov its the best bov for a street style dsm IMO.

i wouldnt risk my turbo to a pos $73 bov.lets not be cheap you get what you pay for.

The line "You get what you pay for" only works on certain things.. Take an exhaust for example. I would rather buy a long piece of 3" tubing and make my own, Rather then pay $900 for a turboback just because it is a ''namebrand''. That's ridiculous.

true that, pipe is pipe, i mean there are different types of metal to make one, but all in all it's just pipe.

also, I don't want this valve anymore. I was hoping it was a straight hks knock off, not a look alike knock off you know. and as for the hks being really shitty at half throttle, what other types of Bovs do you guys recommend that aren't 1g..I refuse to replace my bov with an earlier model bov, it just sounds like trading my stock swirlies in for some 1g stock swirlies you know...

Why even bother getting a knock off or a real one?

You can mod a 1g BOV to hold 30+psi and you can get a dejon leak-stop kit and a 1g BOV all for cheaper than a knockoff

Because it looks sweet in local parking lots and pictures on cardomain. It also lets other drivers on the road know you are a serious race car.
