I am confused on what firing order is used when you do a 2g block with a 1g head into a 95.
I am using the 1G crank angle sensor. how do i set up the spark plug wire's.

You must be magic, first gens dont have crank angle sensors.

If the sensor you are refering to is a cam sensor on the end of the intake camshaft and you have wired it up like Magnus Motorsports does in there 1gina2g article then you no longer have the 2g CRANK sensor(MEASURING THE CRANKSHAFT) hooked up, and you are using the 1g cam sensor to give the ecu crank posistion then you need to use 2341, or 3241, or 2314, or 3214 any of those will work due to the waste spark ignition system setup. your previous firing order would be 4123.

I would strongly suggest using your 95-96 cam gear and sensor setup though, the 1g cam sensor can cause false random missfires which can be a pain in the ass. Look up the volume knob mod on the barometric pressure sensor if you insist on using the 6 bolt cam sensor.

Pm me if you need more info, I do lots of ignition system work and have done every combo possible with heads and blocks using the 4g63.

Im sorry about that i meant the cam sensor. As for the random miss fire i have never had that happen to me when i had the 6 bolt in there. For the baro i am using a GM maft and i also have dsmlink. What would i have to do to set up my coil on plug for this engine. I have one that i would like to install soon... How can i wire it up so i can use it for this 2g 1g combo, would i wire it up to the order you stated above?
