Ok so i just did my 6bolt swap, and i was wondering what i should set the firing order to. I have a 95 with a 90 cas with a 2g coil pack. what order do the plug wires go in and there anything i can do with the injectors other than doing the ecu pin swap?

plug wires 1&2, and 3&4

did you get DSMLink or a Keydiver chip yet for the random missfire CEL?

I have all the wires off the car now so would i just go from left to right labeling them ABCD? I dont have dsm link yet but i will either be installing that soon or the keydiver but not yet. The car wont even turn on an idle though. The rre site was nice and doing the swap with the wires and rewiring and pin switch was easy and simple. Which doesnt make anysense because everything was done the way they said and done correctly and it still not work. I just cant understand how people have all these different firing orders and everything works? I tried a 1000 different orders and nothing!!!

They're buddy cylinders, so both fire at the same time. You just swap the inner two with the outer two (1&4 being the outer two, and 2&3 being the inner two). 1/4 share a coil, as do 2/3. You can just swap the wires on the coilpack end, if you don't want your plug wire cable lengths to get messed around.

Ahh, the benefits of a waste spark ignition system.

Maybe you are having a different problem. Was your motor set to TDC and the cam sensor aligned correctly. Is the car turning over and not firing, or not even turning over?

its turning over but not running, it also will backfire every other time i try to start it. Im goin nuts here. The came sensor hasnt moved at all so from when the motor has ran before it should be fine

That doesn't mean anything. Start with the cam sensor positioned in the middle of the bracket. Once the car starts get your timing light out and set ignition timing to 5* BTDC. Also check your plugs, plug gap, spark plug wires, ignition coil pack (check resistance across 4-1 and 2-3 ; should be ~13k ohms), transistor pack + pins, and physical timing.

Thanks im gonna go all over those again to see if i missed something. blcknspo0ln your car is super clean i love it. How far from newton do you live i think your only about an hour from me, cause i swear i have seen your car before

Plugs, gaps, wires, and coil all ok. with the cas how do you know its dead on in the middle or just eye ball it? well that allow it to not start if its off a little?

You can just eyeball the CAS, just set it as close to the middle as possible. If you dont have a logger or DSMlink, you wont be able to set your base timing.

Seems to me like its not your plug wires that are preventing you from starting it.
Did you wire the CAS yourself or buy a harness?
Do you have fuel pressure? If so, whats your fuel pressure set at?
Is your CAS 180* off?

I have fuel pressure, i did it myself with my friend with a mechanic and its all straight and set to where it should be. Cas is on point to. How could i tell if its not working?

Do you have a data logger?

With the key in the on position, and the car not on. When I would adjust my CAS front and back you could hear a relay turn on, which told me the CAS was working. Try that.

Do you have a AFPR?

yeah i do have a fpr, ill try the cas test to see if it works. Could it also be maybe a faulty transistor pack?

Im trying to help you here and your being way to vague and not answering my questions.

Once again, do you have a datalogger?

I didnt ask if you have a FPR, I asked do you have an adjustable FPR?

Idk about the transistor pack.
