I am in the process of building a 2.3L Stroker for my car b/c I broke the #1 Rod in my old engine. I was just wanting some input on how the engine performs and if there is anything i am overlooking in my buildup or any suggestions on other mods/parts that I should use. And I don't want any "build a 6-bolt" stuff" my engine has 130,000 miles on it with no crankwalk and the block is not messed up from the broken rod because somehow my timing belt broke when the rod broke and the engine just died. My list of parts are as follows:
Slowboy Racing Stage I 2.3L Stroker kit
ARP Main and Head Studs
New Water Pump
New Front Cover and Gears
+0.020 overbore, +.010 Main Bearings, and other machine shop work
SBR Balance shaft eliminator kit
Ferrea Bronze Valve Guides
Manley Stainless Valves
Revised Lifters
Comp Cams 264 equivilant cams
P&P head
Power Enterprises Kevlar T.Belt
Prothane Engine Mount Inserts
PCE 680cc Injectors
S-AFC
SBR Braided SS Fuel Feed Line
Warlboro 190
Forced Performance 18G
FMIC or Larger SMIC
Intercooler Hard pipes
Type-S Blow Off Valve
MBC
Intake Pipe & Filter
and a lot of odds and ends stuff like Oil psi Gauge, Boost Gauge, etc.
