7 bolt in a 1990 gs-t

culdnt find this anywhere... i am lookin to buy a 7 bolt 4g63 can i put that into the shell of a 1990 gs-t?

sorry to bring this thread back but i came across something i wasnt expecting today. i dropped the trans in my buddys 90 awd 5speed to replace the clutch since the oem dis unsprung and i saw that its a 7bolt bottom end. but its a 90 head and manis. just curious if this should be here i dont believe so which means someone put it in but i figured id ask.

Does the oil pan have the inner fold in front of it, or is the front of the pan smooth?

What are you looking at to determine what year the head and manifold are?
Why does it matter? It sounds like somebody swapped a motor at some point.

Agreed with Paul. If it is truly a 1990 2.0L and isn't a 6-bolt, it's been swapped.
