I am currently in the process of building my TSI AWD. I have the head completed with all new valves, Manley valve springs and retainers, as well as new valve guides.

I am starting to build the bottom end and want to know what is the way to go for a Piston/Rod combo as well as bearings. The block is a .020 bore with a resurface. I am looking to have a pretty high HP number as well as be driveable on the street. I am looking at Eagle rods, but cant seem to decide on pistons. Any suggestions?

Also, my car is an Auto. Does anybody have any suggestions for easy/affordable Auto trans mods while I have the engine out of the car? What is needed to equip my trans with a stall?

All input is appreciated....
thanks.

I would do a Manley H beam/Manley piston combo personally. Its a great set up to hold up to 650ish HP. PM me for more details and pricing if you are interested.
