6bolt swap xcase starter bracket

I'm almost finished with my 6bolt swap and I wounder what do u have to grind off on the starter mounting bracket and the transfer case. Pics wound be great...

Can you put the starter up there and see what you would have to mod, take pics, post, and then we could go from there. You are using a oem 1g starter? 1g oem flywheel or flexplate? T case 1G, Dou you have mounting brackets for all, or do you have to buy or fab new ones?

I'm using the 1g flywheel, 2g starter t case and starter mounting bracket.

Ya I would still put them in as best you can, or just mock them up there. Mark where need to be modded. Take pics and post...

If you are using a 6 bolt flywheel (hope you got an AWD one), 2g tranny, 2g transfer case, 2g starter plate; you should not have to grind anything down.

Didnt have to grind anything on my 6 bolt swap....Why would you think you would have to grind anything?

On the 6bolt swap tech guide, it says to grind down one of the transfer case bolt holes and the 2g starter bracket.

Maybe he changed mounting or height of engine or tranny...

Shouldn't matter, you don't have to grind anything down.
