you guys dont get it i dont want to use any 7bolt parts at all thats what every link says is theres 7bolt parts being used I DONT WANT TO USE ANY ENGINE PARTS FROM A 7BOLT

you guys are rediculous killing a post before i can even reply or edit my original to rephrase it i thought ppl on forums were supposed to help not be douchbags

i want to keep the consistancy of the 6bolt which i can find parts for vs importing more expensive and scarse parts from a 7bolt along with everyone i know using 7bolt parts has issues with them going often and my 6bolt hasnt been an issue at all

Your original thread read:

ok i just want to know what i need to put a 6bolt in a 2g... ive heard and read its as easy as swapping the complete motor ecu and harness no mods needed. just bolt in. using the 2g awd trans just motor ecu and wiring. is this true? i just finished a 6bolt implant into a 93 colt.

This is one of the most highly-searchable topics on this site.

....are just two of about a hundred searchable pages of information on 6 bolt swaps on this site. Seriously, I'm not joking here- just try it out. Go to the search bar above....yep, we even made the search bar visible at the top of the page at all times to keep repetitive threads to a minimum- and type in "6-bolt swap", then change the search field to titles only. You'll be blown away by what happens next.

Don't come here and insult the site staff for doing our job. If you think what we do is ridiculous, you're even MORE ridiculous for starting such a thread without even searching. In fact, while you were starting this thread, had you read any of the requirements for posting a new thread you would have came across this warning:

Make sure you've researched this topic before you ask a question. Do not post a common or repetitive question already answered in the FAQ Forum, the Newbie Thread Graveyard or the Tech Guide, otherwise your thread will be removed. Also try doing some keyword searches to try to find your answer first, and be sure you click on the similar thread suggestions that appear after you enter your topic title in the form below.

every thread ive read keeps the 2g harness i dont want it... and i have searched the forum pages never close on my computer and i spend 12 hours a day infront of it

Then add that information to your thread title. Work on capitalization and punctuation while you're at it- yet another rule you agreed to.

State within the title that you want to swap harness and all; do something to set your thread aside from the rest so the staff won't see it as being repetitive and close it.

I have never seen someone so adamant on using all 1g stuff. Why not buy a 1g?

then read my damn original post it says harness

Your original post also said you had already "read its as easy as swapping the complete motor ecu and harness no mods needed. just bolt in. using the 2g awd trans just motor ecu and wiring". If that's the case I don't know what your question is....you can install a 4G63 in a freakin' boat if you retain the factory ECU and harness.

can no longer get 1gs here anything pre 95 is sent to shred so im stuck with a 2g and im a stickler for not using a combo of years i only use parts that are for the same year when i do something

also my friend has an eclipse 7bolt with a 6bolt block the rest 7bolt and he has nothing but issues with it.... it doesnt even run 90% of the year so that makes me alot less inclined to do it that way

so here ill start over. i want to put a 1g motor ecu and wiring harness into a 2g. is it straight forward or is there lots of modding required.
