6bolt fwd vs awd flywheel

The AWD flywheel is a smaller diamiter, in a FWD tranny the started gead is not even close to engaging. ACT had sent me a AWD flywheel in a FWD box a few years ago, after install I went to start the car and the starter just spun. After compairing them side by side the AWD is about 1/4 smaller.

Because ACT has different design than fidanza, I had the same problem with fidanza and we only had to change the gear ring to FWD insted of AWD gear ring and we got the same thing at the OEM flywheel it was for AWD and we just pressed and welded the FWD gear ring without problem, about ACT the gear ring and the flywheel come all one piece can't seperete them

thanks everyone. now at least i know that i have both fwd and awd flywheels. also is the 6 bolt starter for fwd and awd the same? i bought a fwd 6 bolt figureing out what all i need to change it for my awd tsi.
