6" JRC intercooler or Supra SMIC?

Ok so here is the deal, I have someone that was thinking about buying my supra intercooler off me for $180 or so. And I was thinking why not sell it and get the johnnyracecar 6" intercooler. The 8" looks good too, but I really don't want to trim my bumper support (just in case of an accident/and past experience). So my question is do you think the 6" would be better then the Supra SMIC and will the 6" fill up my bumper?

I don't really plan on upgrading my 14b anytime soon so will this be fine?

more space to fill with pressure will cause more lag. I'd stick with the supra side mount.
