i wrecked my 91 tsi AWD and if its totaled i'm gona sell the motor, but i don't know how much to ask for it. it has 153,000 miles on it, new valve-cover gasket and oil cap so no leaks. turbo spins freely and runs great. i know you guys with crank walk worship this block, so what would it be worth?

You are correct about us 2g guys, but the 6bolts are a dime a dozen, a motor with that kinda of milage, would def. need a freshen up to be reliable for a period of time. I would say if it was complete oil pan to valve cover including turbo....a fair price would be ????600???? considering the mileage. my 02 cents

I'd say $500 max with the turbo. My friend got a 6 bolt block, head, trans, turbo, intercooler, ecu, wiring, and so on for $250. The car is came off of had 90000 on it.

wow killer deal on his behalf . i just threw out a number....so make your own judgement, knowing dsmers like my self...you will want one price and you will get lowballed all day long anyways so set it reasonable and take best offer!!
