6 bolt swap non cruise throttle cable

What abaum565 said. Generally you match the cable to the vehicle, but either will work. I've compared both are there are small differences. The biggest difference is where it attaches to the firewall (the orientation of the bends differ) and since the firewall is vehicle-specific and not engine-specific . . . you get the idea. There are also slight differences where it attaches to the manifold as well, but that's really small, but engine-wise which manifold you're running is more important than the engine as such. But the bottom line is it's best to match the cable to the vehicle.

By the way, I've got a 2g with a 6-bolt but I like my cruise (try driving cross-country without it).

I have both in my room. The 2g cable is shorter then the 1g cable. I didnt use any mounting brackets as i just looped it under the intake manifold and made sure it didnt bind up. Very clean looking IMO.
