I know there is going to be some head scratching but the long story short is that my stroker 6 bot is pretty much destroyed accept the block and so far I am 3800 on my paper build. I have a close friend with built 7 bolt complete gst save his failing tranny. I can pick his car up for a friend price and I know whats gone into it. So I am planning on taking his running tuned 380 hp motor and dropping it into my talon. I would have loved to rebuild the 6 bolt but its going to cost more than I can afford for the moment. The gst also has a lot of parts I plan to part out after I'm done taking what I want from it and plan on selling the roller on here or craigslist. So I can make some of my money back if its possible. So my question is I know its wired up for a 6 bolt and I bought it like that. I can use the 1 g cas cant I that is already wired up or am I better off putting it back to stock? Another thing I wanted to know about is wither or not I can use his clutch and flywheel with my awd setup. To my knowledge it should all be the stock trans and drivetrain. I'm pretty set on doing the swap back and any info or oversights on my part pointed out would be greatly appreciated.

Its had a complete rebuild with an Evo 8 crank and forged internals. Arp everything and has a good tune so not too much abuse. With everything I'm getting its a good deal. I could drop my tranny in a it would be perfectly drive-able but I want to keep my awd

Awesome then my talon will be back very soon. Looking forward to my rebuilt green and some bigger injectors! Any one know if a 1g intake mani will fit a 2g head? I have a forrester intake mani on my 6 bolt

or if you really wanna put the work into it you can port the runners on the 2g to match your forrester.

google images 2g vs 1g head. you would just need to port downward. quite a bit yull see, my 2g head ports are very close to a 1g but not all the way there.

you really dont need to port so much of the inside just some and then port the ridge of it to match the 1g gasket so the air just has to flow up some then will go to the original size
