7 bolt to 6 bolt swap

I have a 89-90 awd tsi talon. and i was thinking about taking the motor out of that and putting it in my 95 awd tsi. And i was wondering how easy that would be and if it would work. I know that tb is different on the 89-90 then 91-94 but will this motor still work? senors, vacume lines, ect... i know that i would have to do some work with the CAS but would that be it?

do some searching for DSM link, this enables you to do this swap 1g/2g with out check engine lights and headaches. Otherwie, you need the computer, harness and all kinds of other garbage.

so your saying i need to get a dsm link to make the thing work smoothly

so I have heard, Ive never done the swap, but I BELIEVE dont quote me, you can use the stock 2g wiring harness and sensors and jobs to keep the car running, without dsm link I ve been told the car wont even hold an idle. www.dsmlink.com will help you get the car to work because it allows you to screw around with the cars parameters.
