6 bolt in a 2g..cranks but no start...code p0335 CPS

I have a 6 bolt in my 2g...The engine is cranking, but it doesnt start. Fuel Pressure is 40psi. DSMlink says there is a code p0335 crankshaft position sensor malfunction....could this be the reason it wont start? Not sure what to do next cause I dont even use that sensor in the 6 bolt...

yes that is the reason it wont start. if the ecu sees no crank signal then no fuel or spark.
did you do the 2g 6bolt crank sensor/cam sensor rewire?

Yes, i got it all rewired during the swap, never had a problem till now. Something may have came lose...ill rewire it all and then go from there, but that's pretty much all i wanted to know if that's the reason why its not starting,,thanks

Yup, the crank position sensors tells the ecu when to fire the spark plugs and fuel injectors. Without a signal, neither should work.

Just double check your wiring, it's possible your CAS went bad if you re-wired a 1g CAS.
