6 bolt in 2g question

OK,couple questions...

1.)to use a 2g head on a 6 bolt motor,i need to get my bolt holes over sized to 12 MM correct?

2.)can i use a CAS from a 1g on a 96-96 style head...i was reading on the boards about the threads or something being different..or maybe im just a noob that doesnt know what hes talking about... .
