2G 6 bolt swap question

I'm swapping a 6 bolt bottom end into my 2G, but plan on keeping the 2G head. I understand I need a 6 bolt crank angle sensor... is this true? And also which cam angle sensor do I use for the top end?

im just a lil bit curious because i dont know but whats the point of doing bottom swap? for power? i have read several 2g eclipse that have them...do they give you more power? stop crank walk?

6-bolts (and 1G's) don't have a crank angle sensor like there is on 2G's. when you do the swap you need to wire the cam angle sensor on the head so that the ECU gets the crank angle input from the cam angle sensor as well (or something like that), or get the harness from RRE

Thanks, so I can still use my 7 bolt cam angle sensor, or do I still need to buy one from a 6 bolt? And can someone link me to the harness, as I cannot seem to find it
